Saints Throw Shade at Falcons Involving Patriots

The New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons have one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL and today was a pure example why.

In the middle of the divisional matchup, the NFC South’s first place team threw up highlights from one of the most painful moments in Falcons history. Their 28-3  Super Bowl bungle.

The Athletic’s Nick Underhill posted the photo of the Saints playing highlights of the game-winning James White score and the Falcon’s lead at its highest in the 2016 Super Bowl.

The Saints obviously not happy with being upset by their 1-7 division rival, likely played the highlights to dampen the mood of what is merely a moral victory for the proclaimed ‘Dirty Birds.’

The Patriots have gone on to appear in the Super Bowl three straight times winning two while the Falcons may be in the midst of a coaching change.
