The New England Revolution signed Argentinian attackerΒ Guillermo Hauche after training with the club last week.
Hauche joins the Revolution with experience in both the Argentinan top flight and second division as well as theΒ Chilean Primera DivisiΓ³n. The 25-year-old featured in 33 games throughout his five-year professional career.
Revolution general manager Michael Burns said the club decided to add him after he put in a strong showing during his trial.
βGuillermo is a very technical player who provides us with another attacking option heading into the final stretch of the season,β Burns said. βHe trained with the first team during this past week and we were impressed with his skillset. We’re looking forward to integrating him into the team on a full-time basis.β
Hauche can play either as a forward or an attacking midfielder, which means he could help buff a Revolution attack that has been dull as of late. He first began his career with Racing Club in Argentina before going on loan spells with Club Almagro of Argentina in 2015,Β UniΓ³n EspaΓ±ola of Chile in 2017, and eventuallyΒ Deportes Temuco of Chile in 2018.
The Argentinian will join the team once he receives hisΒ P-1 Visa and international transfer certificate. He will wear No. 22.
