Report: Tom Brady “Expected Back” with Patriots in 2020

Thursday brought some great news if you are a Patriots fan.

According to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, the Patriots are expected to pursue not only re-signing Tom Brady but also surrounding him with valuable weapons.

While “the feeling around the league” is not concrete evidence by any means, it still leaves Patriots fans hopeful that their favorite quarterback will return under center for New England in 2020.

But that’s not the only good news Patriots fans got on Thursday, as Miller’s report links tight end Hunter Henry and wide receiver A.J. Green as potential weapons the Patriots could add.

Henry would be a great but bodied option at tight end that this team was lacking last season. With 652 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games last year, he’d be a welcome addition to an offense that has no threat at the position.

Green is an even more intriguing name for the Patriots. Green’s skill cannot be denied, but an ankle injury sidelined him all last season. Green’s last full campaign, which was 2017, saw him reach the 1,000-yard mark and get a Pro Bowl nod as well.

With the potential of Brady returning and one of these weapons being added to his arsenal, 2020 could be a big bounce-back year for the quarterback and his offense.
