The New England Patriots are wasting no time filling up their vacant spots.

Per his agent, the team has reportedly signed safety Cody Davis.

Davis, 30, has had success in a reserve role as well as special teams making him valuable to a team that lost the likes of Duron Harmon and Nate Ebner.

He played his college ball at Texas Tech which is the alma mater of former Patriots receivers Wes Welker and Danny Amendola.

He was with the St.Louis/Los Angeles Rams from 2013 to 2017 before signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2018. In his career, he has recorded 75 total tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.
