The New England Patriots continue to add depth to their defense as it has been anounced that they have re-signed linebacker Marquis Flowers to a one-year/$2.55 deal.

Patriots keeping another of their own, re-signing LB Marquis Flowers on a 1-deal worth up to $2.55 million, per @seanstellato.

Flowers recorded 32 tackles as well as three and a half sacks during this past season while also standing out on special teams.
He’s also one of the more vocal members of the defense sticking up for himself and his coach in a tweet about a criticism piece written by Greg Bedard.

Flowers is one of the two Patriots linebackers that went to free agency and with his return to the team, the Patriots lone linebacker left on the market is James Harrison.
