The New England Patriots have narrowed their search for Stephen Gostkowski’s replacement down to two names.

Per Adam Schefter, the Patriots have two veterans competing for the placekicking job.

Forbath, 32, went undrafted out of UCLA and spent time with the Dallas Cowboys to start his career. He spent most of his career as a member of the Washington Redskins. Out of 140 career field goals, he has made 120 with his longest a 57-yarder.

Nugent, 37, was drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft and spent most of his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. Out of 305 career attempts, Nugent has made 247 of them and a career-long field goal of 55 yards.
