Report: Key Patriots Player Suspended for Infraction Against Bills

A stunning decision was made by the National Football League as they have suspended New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for one game.

Gronkowski committed a dead ball foul by performing a lunging hit on cornerback Tre’Davious White.

Vice President of football operations Joe Runyan released this statement to Gronkowski and his camp telling him of his suspension and the reason for it.

“Your actions were not incidental, could have been avoided and placed the opposing player at risk of serious injury. The Competition Committee has clearly expressed its goal of ‘eliminating flagrant hits that have no place in our game.’ Those hits include the play you were involved in yesterday,”

A source has stated that the tight end will indeed appeal the suspension while White has been placed in concussion protocol.
