Rob Gronkowski is calling it a career.
The All-Pro tight end announced on his Instagram that he is walking away from the game.
Gronkowski, 29, is statistically one of the best tight ends to ever play the game given Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors on numerous occasions.
He was the 2011 NFL receiving touchdowns leader and won three Super Bowls with the team.
The Patriots now have only Ryan Izzo, Jacob Hollister, Stephen Anderson, and Matt LaCosse at tight end.

The NFL playoffs are going strong. Saturday’s Divisional Round action saw two exciting games, with the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders both advancing to their respective conference championship games. More thrilling NFL action is on the docket with the final two Divisional Round games on Sunday, January 19.
The Houston Texans surprised a lot of people in their Wild Card win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Part of the surprise wasn’t just that it was a win; it was a defensive onslaught.
