Report: Eagles Receiver Trashes Patriots, Guarantees Victory

Following suit with NFL stars before him and Jalen Ramsey of the Jacksonville Jaguars a week ago, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery spoke out about the game in confident fashion.

The former Bear remarked to reporters and fans guaranteeing an Eagles victory which would bring home the first Vince Lombardi trophy in franchise history.

“We’re bringing that trophy back to Philly,” Jeffery stated.

Jeffery stated that the New England Patriots and their accomplishments are just parts of yesterday and do not matter now.

“Man, I don’t give a damn about all of that,” Jeffery said. “That’s in the past. We’re in the present. It’s 2018. It’s a new year. All that stuff in the past, that’s in the past. It’s a new year, man.”

When a reporter asked a question that stated if the Eagles win the Super Bowl, Jeffery cut off the reporter stating there was no doubt about whether they would win the game and even went further to talking about the celebration.

“Ain’t no ‘if,’ man. When we win on Sunday, ain’t no telling what we’re going to do,” Jeffery said. “But we’re probably going to celebrate, have some fun.”

Super Bowl LII will take place Sunday at 6:30 p.m. on NBC with Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth on the call.
