The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have continued to be active in free agency on Friday by signing unrestricted free agent swing-lineman Joe Haeg.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the deal is for one year at $2.3 million with the chance to earn up to $3.3 million with incentives.
The #Buccaneers are signing G/T Joe Haeg, source says. Former fifth-rounder for the #Colts on his way to Tampa along with some other guy that officially signed today.

Haeg, 27, was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of North Dakota State.
Over the last four years, Haeg has appeared in 55 games (35 starts) for the Colts including as a reserve in all 16 games in 2019.
Known for his versatility, he has seen time all across the line and is said to be able to play all five positions.
New Bucs OL Joe Haeg gets first look at right tackle — there at least until they address RT in draft. Played four different spots for Colts — started at LG, RG and RT as rookie in 2016, spent 2017 as starting RT. Last name pronounced with a long A, like "vague."

Per Greg Auman of The Athletic, Haeg will get his first crack at right tackle where he will compete for the starting role. He served as the starter there for Indianapolis in 2017 before they drafted Braden Smith to take over in 2018.
The move gives the Buccaneers a bit of insurance in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft should the top tackles all be gone before Tampa Bay picks at No. 14. However, it does not preclude the team from still taking a tackle should one be available when they are on the clock.
