The Boston Bruins have finally made a move.

With the team in Vegas on a West Coast swing, the B’s have acquired former Minnesota Wild forward Charlie Coyle according to Bob McKenzie. Coyle, a nine-year veteran, has spent his entire career in Minnesota. He has 91 career goals and 151 points. Coyle signed a five-year, 16-million dollar deal in Minnesota and is under team control for next year. Coyle has 10 goals and 28 points this season.

McKenzie reported that the return for Minnesota is Bruins forward Ryan Donato as well as a fifth-round pick. Donato was seen as the top prospect in the Bruins system but underwhelmed during his brief Bruins tenure.
