Before claiming wide receiver Josh Gordon, the Seattle Seahawks almost took a huge risk.

Per Adam Schefter, the Seahawks reportedly did their, ‘Due diligence’ on Antonio Brown before going with his former teammate.

It was not just the front office that was almost interested in taking a flier on the former New England Patriot. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson also reportedly pushed for the signing of Brown.

Brown has not played since Week 2 where he caught four passes for 56 yards and a score in his first and only appearance as a Patriot.

The Seahawks are not the only team that is on the market for the former Pittsburgh Steeler however.

Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus spoke to Schefter and claimed that there are maybe, ‘a few teams that are very interested in signing Antonio once this process is over.’
