Report: Bears, Jimmy Graham Agree to 2-Year Deal

Jimmy Graham is staying in the NFC North after spending his past two seasons with the Green Bay Packers. The veteran tight end signed a two-year, $16 million deal with the Chicago Bears on Monday.

Graham’s career has been up and down from the moment he entered the league back in 2010. He played five seasons with the New Orleans Saints from 2010 until 2014 as he dominated with over 3,500 receiving yards and 41 touchdowns.

Despite his early success in New Orleans, Graham struggled during his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks as he failed to reach 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons out west.

Similarly, in his two seasons in Green Bay with a fantastic quarterback in Aaron Rodgers, the production was again absent from Graham’s game. He had only 1,083 yards and five touchdowns with the Packers despite playing in all 32 games.

Now, Jimmy Graham has the chance to revive his career and get back to making defenses look silly. The Bears are currently on the market for a new quarterback who could pair nicely with the 6-foot-7, 265-pound tight end.
