It’s been a little over a week since free agency has begun, and most of the big-name free agents have signed new contracts. As we wind down the month of March, we are counting the days till the 2021 NFL Draft. While plenty can change between now and the last weekend in April, we now have a better idea of what holes each team needs to fill.
The NFL’s legal tampering period kicks off on Monday, meaning a plethora of free-agent signings will be finalized early in the week. Before the deals run rampant, let’s take a look at a two-round mock draft with four new trades sprinkled in.
Among the top three picks in April’s NFL Draft, the New York Jets hold the second overall selection. This is following a 2-14 record last season. Furthermore, the team will also select 23rd overall following star safety Jamal Adams’ trade to the Seattle Seahawks.
The Jaguars were 1-15 in their worst seasons in the franchise’s history, but on the bright side are now drafting first overall. With that top pick, they will select Trevor Lawrence.
The Chargers hired Brandon Staley as their head coach following the 2020 season. Staley and his coaching staff are now focused on bringing Los Angeles back to the playoffs under Justin Herbert and a new supporting cast, which may include an almost fully renovated offensive line.
The 2020 NFL season is over. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are Super Bowl champions for the second time in team history. With that said, the NFL now turns to the offseason. In this mock, the trades of Deshaun Watson and Carson Wentz are held off until compensation details become more clear with the potential trades. This two-round mock features 13 trades, including three in the top ten.

We are less than four days away from the Super Bowl. However, for the 30 teams not playing Sunday, their focus has turned to the offseason, especially the 2021 NFL Draft.
The NFL Draft season has begun with the conclusion of the Senior Bowl. With no combine and an unusual beginning to the offseason – largely due to a blockbuster trade before the Super Bowl, this will be one of the most unique draft seasons ever.
The first 18 picks in the 2021 NFL Draft are set. With that said, the team needs are becoming abundantly clear, and with a great quarterback class, some teams could look radically different. Moreover, this is not a trade heavy mock draft and only has one trade at the end. The order is based on the website Tankathon, which uses the strength of schedule (SOS) and up to date records to determine the draft order.
There are only three weeks left of the regular season. Teams are jockeying for playoff spots and higher playoff seeding. Then, some teams are vying for a top draft pick. Ahead of Week 15’s games, here’s a two-round mock draft featuring three trades.
The NFL season continues to roll strong throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Some teams are looking at their schedule and predicting where they will be seeded in the playoffs. Others, meanwhile, are looking to the schedule to determine what draft picks they will have in April’s draft.
