On Friday, the Oakland Raiders signed former Giants safety Curtis Riley, and he will join LaMarcus Joyner to sure up the safety position.

The Oakland Raiders have added more depth to their secondary by adding safety Curtis Riley to the team. Riley played with the New York Giants last season.

With the Giants, Riley started 16 games, posting 75 tackles and four interceptions. The former Fresno State prospect was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Titans back in 2015 before signing with the Giants.

Riley joins newly acquired LaMarcus Joyner at the safety position. Riley will provide quality depth behind both Joyner and Karl Joseph. The Raiders also plan to use Joyner as the nickel corner, so Riley could see a lot of time on the field on nickel packages, along with Erik Harris.
