It has been a long time coming for N’Keal Harry who had his first meeting with the media ever since the summer.

When asked about how it felt to be back out there. It was all about his teammates.

“You know it feels great to get out there with my team,” Harry told reporters. “Just looking for my role and a way to help the team.”

Harry claims he did not exhibit any impatience with the long wait to get back on the field.

“I just looked at it as a blessing, I just looked at the positive things in it,” Harry said. “God has done so much throughout my life. He’s put stepping stones in certain places so I just looked at it the same way.”

Harry went down with his injury in the preseason game in Detroit and went back out for practice the following week to try and push through it much to no avail. Harry himself has no regrets with trying and says it is just part of the game.

“I don’t have any regrets,” Harry said. “I don’t need to show anything. Me going out there and playing hard and playing through stuff, that’s just the type of mentality I have and that’s just the type of mindset I grew up having. It wasn’t me just trying to show toughness, it was just me.”

When it comes to his connection with quarterback Tom Brady, the Arizona State alum is taking it one day at a time.

“It’s been great just going out there with the mentality of just getting better everyday,” Harry said. “Just going out there and doing my best to get better and get better at something everyday.”
