The latest hashtag that’s picking up steam is from numerous NFL players.
#WeWantToPlay is flooding Twitter. Players from across the NFL have been sharing their thoughts on the upcoming season, one filled with uncertainty. They are calling on the league and commissioner Roger Goodell to protect them and their families, as camps are beginning to get underway in the coming days.
The players are calling on the league to adhere to any and all guidelines set by government officials and medical experts, while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread in various cities and states around the country. The players just want to safely play the sport they love and get paid to play.

The list goes on and on, with every player sharing similar sentiments. They want to play, so it’s up to Roger Goodell and the league to implement strict and safe guidelines for NFL players. Even without fans in the stands, everyone wants the return of the sport they love to watch every Sunday.
