Divisional Round 2021

There are eight teams remaining, all of which have had impressive seasons and deserve to be at this point. All four of these games are relatively evenly matched and could go either way. Expect them all to be close into the fourth quarter. Anticipate trench play and turnovers being a critical factor in the outcome of each of these games. Below is a look into the games for the Divisional Round of the playoffs.

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans

The Bengals won their first playoff game in 31 years and did so in an exciting fashion. Expect another big game from Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase in this one. Slowing down the Titans’ rushing attack with Derrick Henry will be key for them defensively. For the Titans, their dominant front four has to win against the Cincinnati offensive line. In the passing game, a consistent performance from Ryan Tannehill will be needed. Having Henry with A.J. Brown and Julio Jones will be great for the Titans. This will be a close game that Tennessee will win by one possession.

San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers

This is arguably the best matchup of the week. The Packers have been the top team for most of this year. As of late, the 49ers are playing almost better than anyone and may be the second-best team in the NFC after the Packers. Establishing the running game with Elijah Mitchell and Deebo Samuel will once again be critical. As long as Jimmy Garoppolo can limit mistakes, the 49ers will have a great chance. For the Packers, anticipate Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams being at their best. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon should provide a good ground game. They should score a good chunk of points. This game will go down to the wire with a Packers win by a field goal.

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

These two teams have met up each of the last two years. They have both had successful seasons. In this one, expect the Rams rushing attack and Buccaneers defensive front to be a key battle. The Buccaneers have got to make Matthew Stafford win. For the Buccaneers offense, their injured offensive line will make things tough. Going against Aaron DonaldVon Miller, and Leonard Floyd will be difficult. Tom Brady will likely have to be efficient with the quick passing game. Mike Evans and Jalen Ramsey will make for a great matchup. The Buccaneers will win a good contest here by one score.

Buffalo Bills at Kansas City Chiefs

The Bills and Chiefs meet in a big game again. These teams have had their fair share of inconsistencies this season but have played their best as of late. They each had big wins a week ago. For the Bills, Josh Allen and Devin Singletary have got to continue their strong play. Overall, their offense should be effective moving against the Chiefs’ defense. On the other side, the Bills’ top-ranked defense has got to deliver here on the road against Patrick Mahomes. Limiting big plays from Tyreek HillMecole Hardman, and Travis Kelce will be important. This should be another great game. The Bills will win by a field goal.
