The regular season is over and now it is officially playoff time. What better way to kick things off than with a wildcard weekend filled with six-games. In this article, I will take a look at the top players for Saturday’s game. There will be some dart throws, Cash plays, GPP plays, and my top stack of the day. Let’s jump right into the top plays for wild card weekend. Be on the lookout for more DFS plays for Sunday’s games.

Dart Throw

Nyheim Hines (DK $4,700 | FD $5,600)

Hines upside comes from his pass-catching ability. The Buffalo Bill’s offense has been electric of late and can score points in a hurry. The Indianapolis Colts will likely find themselves down early and being forced to come from behind. That will force them to abandon the run and allow Hines to get some more snaps. Hines only saw 18% of the snaps last week but the Colts had a lead throughout that game. When they play from behind Hines sees a lot more snaps. With all the Star running backs playing in this weekend’s games Hines should be lower owned and a great dart throw.

GPP Plays

Philip Rivers (DK $5,500 | FD $6,900)

Rivers should benefit from the game script on Sunday. If the Colts get down early he will have to throw the ball a lot more than the Colts would like him to. This game is also set at 51.5 for the over-under. There will be plenty of scoring to go around in this game. The way Jonathan Taylor has been playing the Bills will be forced to game plan around him. That should benefit Rivers and leave him throwing opportunities throughout the game.

Corey Davis (DK $4,800 | FD $6,400)

Davis will benefit from being the Tennessee Titan’s third option this week.  If the Baltimore Ravens can slow down Derrick Henry that will force them to rely on the passing attack. The Raven’s main focus in the passing attack is going to be AJ Brown. That will leave Davis plenty of opportunities to get his targets. He also gets a solid matchup against the Ravens secondary who have allowed eleven touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Seven of those came in the last seven games. Look for Davis to see plenty of targets and at the least be able to replicate his 100 plus receiving yard game that he had against the Ravens in the regular season.

Cash Plays

Ronald Jones (DK $5,500 | FD $6,700)

Even with Brady at quarterback, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will look to establish the run early. If the Buccaneers get a lead then Jones will get plenty of work. A lot of people seem to be underestimating the Washington Football Team pass defense. If Tom Brady struggles against this defense then they will have to rely on Jones even more. He’s a much better play in the Saturday only slate. Even on the full slate, he’s a great play.

Seattle Seahawks D/ST (DK $2,700 | FD $3,600)

Going with a cheap Defense is a good way to save some salary. The Seahawks defense has played very well lately. They have forced at least one turnover in seven straight games. They also have had multiple sacks in ten straight games. If Jared Goff is unable to play then John Wolford will get the start for the Los Angeles Rams. That gives the Seahawks the most upside of any defense on this slate. Even if Goff can play the Seahawks will still get their points.

Stack

Josh Allen(DK $7,500 | FD $9,000)

Stefon Diggs (DK $7,000 | FD $8,700)

John Brown (DK $4,700 | FD $5,700)

The Bills offense is healthy and loaded with plenty of talent. The Colts have a very good defense but they have been vulnerable against the pass. They allowed over 300 passing yards in five out of the last seven games. Allen had an MVP caliber season and if it wasn’t for Aaron Rodgers he would have a good shot at winning the MVP. He and Diggs had an amazing connection all season long. He also now has a healthy Brown at his disposal. In Brown’s return from injury last week and he caught four passes for 72 yards and one touchdown. Look for the Bills stack to be the highest scoring on the slate.
