One of my favorite activities to take part in at bars, other than drinking, of course, is playing darts. Throwing darts takes precision aim, but if you hit the bullseye or triple-20 you’re sitting very pretty. It’s the same concept when it comes to taking down large field tournaments otherwise known as GPPs. Sometimes you have to get a little weird and go off the radar. You don’t have to get a ton of these guys in your lineup, but one or two could be incredibly beneficial. It could also fail miserably. But if you’re playing in a tournament like the Milly Maker on DraftKings, you’re going to need to get creative and use at least one low-owned player. Without further ado, let’s get to some Dart Throws that might help us take home a ton of money.

QB – Josh Rosen ($4,500 DK, $6,200 FD)
Rosen will get his second straight start today against the Chargers. I don’t love it and I understand if you hate it. Absolutely no one is going to be playing this guy which is exactly what we want in GPPs. He’s the cheapest starting quarterback on DraftKings this week and should be forced to throw often in a game that the Dolphins are 15-point underdogs. They’re playing at home, and something tells me they’ll be able to keep the game closer than Vegas thinks.
WR – Preston Williams ($3,900 DK, $5,200 FD)
Well, if we’re considering using Rosen in a tournament, we might as well pair him up with a receiver. Preston Williams has quietly been getting funneled targets over the first few weeks of the season. In each week he’s seen an increase, week one – five targets, week two – six targets, week three – 12 targets. Three of his targets last week came in the red-zone and he has a team-high five red-zone targets on the season. The next closest person on the team is DeVante Parker with only one red-zone target. The Chargers should be able to put up some points against this Miami Dolphins minor league defense. Meaning Rosen will be throwing a lot and Williams could be the beneficiary.
WR – KeeSean Johnson ($3,200 DK, $4,600 FD)
The Arizona Cardinals third wide receiver, Damiere Byrd is going to miss this contest against the Seattle Seahawks due to a hamstring injury. Byrd was on the field for 96% of the Cardinals’ offensive snaps in week three. That was the most of any Cardinals receiver, even more than Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk, each was on the field for 92% of snaps. Kliff Kingsbury loves running three and four wide receiver sets, and KeeSean Johnson will likely take over Byrd’s role. Fitz will play a lot in the slot and Johnson should match-up with either Tre Flowers or Shaquill Griffin. Both cornerbacks have been very sub-par this season. Don’t be surprised to see Johnson beat one of them deep.
TE – Eric Ebron ($4,000 DK, $5,300 FD)/Jack Doyle ($3,700 DK, $5,200 FD)
With T.Y. Hilton dealing with a quad injury and not practicing Thursday and Friday, his status for Sunday’s game remains uncertain. As of now, he is listed as doubtful. If he were to miss the game, his 26.88% team target percentage has to go elsewhere. Ebron and Doyle are second and fourth on the team in overall targets. My favorite out of the two is Ebron. When Ebron goes off, he has two or three touchdown days.
