With the 2022-23 NBA season upon us, there has been plenty of speculation about what will happen in the competition over the next few months. Many fans are still speculating on who will win the season awards, the teams that will record the best or worst records, and who stands the best chance for the All-Star Game.

Following the post-season trade, many teams have many talented players capable of surpassing previous records and exceeding the fans’ expectations. Here are the NBA’s most surprising teams this season that NBA fans should follow or consider betting on with the Betway sports betting app.

Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies are the first surprise package this season as they didn’t have any injured players at the playoffs, and they didn’t make any major moves. The franchise has focused on team building for years, bringing in players full of potential and talent.

Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr, Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant are among the young players who have developed their game immensely over the last few seasons, and they now seem mature and capable enough to win more tough matchups.

Los Angeles Clippers

The LA Clippers still have a pending task of being a contender for the ring. That’s the idea their management had when they brought stars Paul George and Kawwhi Leonard to the franchise, hoping they’ll bring them their first championship title.

This season, the Clippers will have the services of John Wall, who returned this season after sitting on the bench for the last season. Their roster is packed with talent from secondary players who might contribute significantly to their quest to prove they’re built to win. That makes the Clippers a great NBA team to bet on with Betway in their quest for glory.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have finished several seasons hoping they’ll get the chance to take the title. The team came closest to taking the championship title with Jimmy Butler, but it has gone through several changes since then. That includes Daryl Morey’s take over as the president of operation and Doc Rivers in the coaching.

Currently, the 76ers have James Harden as the second star and Tyrese Maxey as the young star. However, Joel Embiid carries all the hopes for the 76ers this season.

New Orleans Pelicans

The Pelicans will have the services of star Zion Williamson following his successful recovery. Zion was chosen as their first pick during the 2019 draft but has remained on the sidelines for almost a season. However, Zion has already recovered from surgery, and his services in C.J McCollum’s squad can achieve great things depending on how his game evolves.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Minnesota has decided to take a totally different path from all the other NBA teams. The Timberwolves are playing two pivots, giving them a great defense but a slow game. That’s a risky bet, but their system creates the NBA’s most solid defense and allows them to control the game’s rhythms and tempo in their favor.
