NBA DFS February 21st, 2020 Fave Five

Josh Livi  | February 21st, 2020

Wow! We had an absolute monster night last night. Thank you Trae Young!

Let’s focus on tonight. Lots of games, lots of players, lots of money to be made, let’s get to it and win some cash!

Guard:

Elfrid Payton, New York Knicks: (DK-$7,600)

Payton has been a revelation since his suspension. Over his last six games, he is averaging around 40 fantasy points per game! On the year, Payton is averaging 29.6 fantasy points per game and the offense just runs so much smoother with him out there. Not to mention, the Indiana Pacers aren’t very good at defending the PG position. Over the All-Star break, however, he did tweak his ankle, so we will wait and see if he’s a go. if he is active, YOU START HIM.

Forward:

Kelly Oubre, Jr.

Phoenix Suns: (DK-$6,700)

Oubre is one of my favorite players on tonight’s slate. The dude can ball at such a high intensity and is a complete game-changer on the court. Yes, he won’t score 35-40 points a game, but he does so many other things. He is averaging 18.9 points per game, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game. He gets a matchup with Kyle Lowry and the Toronto Raptors. I like the matchup here and like him to put up some big numbers tonight. He is definitely my SLEEPER of the night.

Power Forward:

T.J. Warren, Indiana Pacers: (DK-$6,100)

Warren here makes for an excellent play. Besides the fact that he is stuffing the stat sheet, he gets the Knicks! We know what that means! Start players against the Knicks. He is averaging 28.5 fantasy points per game on the year. With a cupcake matchup tonight, he could flirt with a double-double, possibly even a triple-double. I like him going for over 35 fantasy points tonight. He is my LOCK of the night.

Center:

Domantas Sabonis, Indiana Pacers: (DK-$9,600)

Sabonis here like Warren has to be a top play because of the matchup. He gets the Knicks. Sabonis was an All-Star this year and he’s having a monster season. He is averaging over 40 fantasy points per game. Put those numbers and a matchup with a Knicks together, you will get an eye-popping performance. Sabonis is averaging 18.3 points per game and 12.5 rebounds per game. Look for those numbers to skyrocket tonight in what should be a very lopsided affair.

Util:

Lonzo Ball, New Orleans Pelicans: (DK-$6,900)

Lonzo gets the start tonight for two reasons. Number one, he is practically averaging a triple-double, averaging 11.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game. Reason number two, he’s facing a Portland Trail Blazers team without star point guard Damian Lillard. Lonzo is going to feast tonight in what should be a close game. He is going to flirt with a triple-double on any given night, and if he were to achieve that fate, tonight is a great chance for him to do so. I think he tops 50 fantasy points tonight!

That does it for this edition of Livi’s Fave Five. Good luck and let’s win some big money!!
