NBA DFS Core Four 8/6/2020

We are back with another edition of “Core Four”! We have a lot of good games tonight and lots of money to be made! So let’s get to it on this awesome Thursday!

All prices listed below are Draft Kings

Ricky Rubio ($6,600) – Phoenix Suns vs Indiana Pacers

Rubio is coming off a fantastic game where he put up 20 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Rubio is a triple-double threat every time he steps foot on the court. Today’s matchup against an extremely banged up Pacers team makes him a very intriguing fantasy option at the point guard position. On the year, Rubio is averaging. 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game. The matchup here is a huge plus as well. The Pacers give up 23rd most points allowed to opposing point guards. Rubio is cheap, and he’s my lock of the night. He goes for a triple-double tonight. Book it!

Monte Morris ($4,700) – Denver Nuggets vs Portland Trail Blazers

Morris is the type of plug and play every DFS owner dreams of. Dirt cheap player that plays tons of minutes. Especially with starting guard Jamaal Murray out due to a thigh injury, Morris is going to feast. He doesn’t set the world on fire, but all he needs is minutes to fill up the stat sheet. The Trail Blazers also allow the 22nd MOST points to opposing point guards. A prime spot for Morris to thrive. He is coming off a splendid performance where he played 39 minutes. He managed to put up a very respectable stat line of 17 points, four rebounds, and four assists. For a guy priced at $4,700, that’s a beautiful performance I’ll take on any given night!

T.J. Warren ($8,400) – Indiana Pacers @ Phoenix Suns

Warren is playing like a man on a mission. He’s absolutely scorching hot, so we’ll keep riding his glorious hot streak! Even with Victor Oladipo back in the lineup, Warren continues his scoring rampage. He dropped a game-high 32 points, in 38 minutes! On the year he’s averaging only 19.7 points a game, but he’s too hot right now to ignore. The matchup isn’t all that pretty as the Suns allow the ninth least about of points to opposing forwards. However, Warren is playing like a man possessed. So no matchup scares me right now. Lock him in while he’s hot and enjoy the points!

Zach Collins ($4,300) – Portland Trail Blazers vs Denver Nuggets

This pick is a low-risk high reward pick. Collins has been starting since the season reset and has performed admirably. Ever since the season reset, he’s been playing more than 25 mins and averaging more than 15 fantasy points a game. The matchup tonight is key, as the Nuggets allow the 23rd most points to opposing teams. With the Nuggets team all injured, Collins should have his way down low. Collins and Jusuf Nurkic will both be used early and often tonight. On the year Collins is averaging a very respectable eight points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. Tonight, due to the matchup and completely lopsided matchup, I wouldn’t be surprised if he goes off for a double-double. He is my SLEEPER pick of the night!

That does it for this edition of Core Four! Hope you guys enjoy it and good luck!
