For the third season in a row, the Chicago Bears will face off against the Los Angeles Rams in primetime. The last two years they faced off on Sunday Night football with the Bears winning in 2018 and the Rams in 2019. This year it will be on Monday Night Football. The Bears head into L.A. at 5-1, looking to stay atop the NFC North while the Rams sit at 4-2 hoping to remain in striking distance of the Seattle Seahawks. Let’s jump right into the top DFS players for this NFC showdown.

DraftKings Captain (DK Only)

Chicago Bears D/ST (DK Captain $7,800)

The Bears defense has had a lot of success against Jared Goff and the Rams the last couple of games. Goff was unable to throw a touchdown and only threw for 353 yards with had five interceptions in those two games. The Bears defense has 15 sacks on the season and is due for a defensive touchdown. They have already had two touchdowns called back by questionable penalty calls this season. They also have one of the best kick returners in the NFL in Cordarrelle Patterson, who has the potential to return a kick for a touchdown anytime he touches the ball. Look for them to get pressure on Goff and force some turnovers in this game.

FanDuel MVP

David Montgomery (DK $8,400 | FD $11,500)

The Bears have yet to consistently get the run game going this season. Montgomery has shown that he can make people miss, but the offensive line is not opening up enough lanes to allow him to run the way he does. However, the Bears have found different ways to get him the ball in space in the passing attack. He has seen five or more targets in the last three games since Tarik Cohen went on injured reserve. Montgomery is the workhorse back and he will continue to get a high volume of touches.

Utility Players

Gerald Everett (DK $4,800 | FD $6,500)

It’s no secret that Tyler Higbee is the Rams starter and sees most of the snaps. However, Higbee is banged up and the Rams will likely use him as more of a blocker in this game. That opens up more opportunities for Everett, who stands to see more receiving opportunities. The Bears’ defense is very good at stopping receivers but has struggled at making stops in the middle of the field. Through the first four games of the season, the defense allowed three touchdowns to tight ends. In the last two, they didn’t allow any touchdowns but did give up 105 total yards to Tampa Bay tight ends. Look for Everett to be one of Goff’s most reliable targets in this game.

Darrell Henderson Jr. (DK $8,200 | FD $12,000)

One of the Bears’ biggest problems on defense has been defending the run. A big part of that has been because of Eddie Goldman opting out. They haven’t been able to replace him, and opposing teams have been exploiting that. Chicago has allowed five rushing touchdowns and an average of 96 rushing yards per game. Coming into this matchup Henderson has been the most consistent running back for the Rams. He has scored 20+ fantasy points in three games this season and has seen the most consistent carries of the three Los Angeles running backs. Look for Henderson to have a solid fantasy game in what will likely be a low-scoring football game.
