Monday Night Football DFS: Week 10

We are back with another edition of Monday Night Football DFS. This week the Los Angeles Rams head into San Francisco to face the 49ers. The 49ers need to start stringing together some wins if they want any hope of making the playoffs. The Rams on the other hand are fighting to get the first-round bye. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the top DFS players for tonight’s game.

DraftKings Captain | FanDuel MVP

Matthew Stafford (DK 16,200 | FD 17,000)

Stafford played a terrible game last week on Sunday Night Football. He threw two bad interceptions both leading to scores for the Tennessee Titans. However, he will likely bounce back against a 49ers defense that has struggled to stop quarterbacks this season. They are coming off a game where they allowed Colt McCoy to throw for 249 yards and beat them very easily. Look for Stafford to have a bounce-back game this week.

Flex Plays

Brandon Aiyuk (DK 6,600 | FD 7,500)

After a terrible start to the season, Aiyuk has finally worked his way out of Kyle Shanahan’s doghouse. In the last two games, he has seen 15 targets catching 10 for 134 yards and a touchdown. The Rams have been very good against wide receivers this year. However, with Deebo Samuel having such a good year look for the focus to be on him letting Aiyuk get softer coverage all night.

Van Jefferson (DK 5,400 | FD 8,000)

A couple of days ago it seemed like Jefferson was going to be the No. 4 wide receiver for the Rams. They signed Odell Beckham Jr. to pair with Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp, pushing Jefferson to the sidelines. However, Woods went down with a torn ACL in Friday’s practice. That will likely make Jefferson the No. 2 wide receiver for this week before getting pushed to the No. 3 role when Beckham is ready to go. Jefferson already had at least six targets in the last three games. He should see anywhere between 8-10 in tonight’s game.

Darrell Henderson (DK 9,200 | FD 12,000)

Henderson is typically a script-dependent running back. He only averages a couple of catches per game so unless he gets double-digit carries and scores touchdowns he will likely struggle fantasy-wise. The good news for Henderson is the Rams are 3.5 point favorites, even on the road. The 49er’s defense has given up eight rushing touchdowns on the year so look for Henderson to get at least one in this game.
