MLB DFS W’s for Tuesday

MLB DFS W's for Tuesday

We are hitting the California late slate tonight on DraftKings. There are three games on the docket, and it may be hard to find cheap options. However, that is what I am here for. As usual, these are pitchers at $8,000 and under along with hitting bargains at $4,000 and under which is gold for your DFS lineups if they produce. It also allows you to stack the rest of your lineup with studs. Let’s get to it.

Be sure to check us out daily for our DFS content.

On the Mound

Taijuan Walker @ San Diego Padres ($7,200)

Walker hasn’t offered too much strikeout upside this season, setting down just 12.5 percent of the batters he faced. On the bright side, The Mets’ righty has limited damage, allowing just a 7.7 percent walk rate while giving up only two homers in 40.2 innings. The Padres haven’t been a great-hitting team, and they are worse at home with a .646 OPS in Petco. They also strike out more than most of the league, so San Diego may help Walker out a bit tonight.

Garrett Whitlock @ Los Angeles Angels ($6,900)

Whitlock has been underrated since he came up last year. He performed well enough for the Red Sox to put him in the starting rotation. He hasn’t disappointed there either as his last two starts have been of the quality variety. The last time Whitlock faced the Angels a month ago, he struck out nine in five innings while coughing up just two hits and two runs. Los Angeles’ offense is struggling having scored more than two runs just once in their last seven games.

On the Dirt

Brandon Crawford, SS ($4,100)

Had to stretch the budget a tad with this pick. After an 0-for-11 slump heading into June, Crawford had the day off on Thursday. Over the last two games, he is 3-for-8 and all three of those hits have been for extra bases. He has a long history against the Rockies’ starting pitcher, German Marquez. The Giants’ shortstop is 11-for-32 with a home run against the Colorado right-hander in his career.

Garrett Hampson, 2B ($3,000)

The right-handed hitter for the Rockies is 5-for-12 over his last three games. He gets to face a lefty tonight with Carlos Rodon on the mound for San Francisco. While the Giants’ southpaw is a tough matchup, Hampson has been mashing lefties this season going 7-for-19 with a couple of doubles and a triple.

On the Grass

Jeff McNeil ($3,800)

McNeil has been incredibly consistent this year for the Mets. Since April 20, his average has not dipped below .300 and his OPS has not been under .775. The floor here is solid and McNeil is 7-for-19 over his last five games. He may only be 1-for-7 against Padres starter Yu Darvish in his career, but that one hit went over the wall.

Good Luck with all of your DFS lineups.
