It is going to be tough to match the excitement of last night’s game. Now that the World Series boils down to a three-game series, let’s take a look at how we can make some cash with MLB DFS for October 25.
Captain
Clayton Kershaw ($17,400)
The future Hall-of-Famer was dominant in Game 1 going six innings while only allowing a leadoff single to Yandy Diaz and a solo shot to Kevin Kiermaier. His postseason struggles have always been a bit overblown and now, as a wily veteran, he seems to be poised to get the Los Angeles Dodgers within one game of their first championship since 1988. He is the most expensive player in the Showdown tonight, but have confidence in the lefty to befuddle the Tampa Bay Rays lineup once again.
Utility
Randy Arozarena ($9,200)
Why not? The dude is the hottest hitter on the planet and it will be must-watch TV when he goes head to head with Kershaw. In the regular season and the postseason combined, Arozarena has 16 HRs in 154 PAs. He is also slashing .331/.414/.744 in those 41 games.
Justin Turner ($8,600)
He was last night’s Home Run Call and he didn’t waste any time setting the Dodgers all-time postseason record for HRs with 12. He is on fire right now going six for his last 10 with two doubles and two bombs. His price is still below 9k so he should be a lock in your lineups.
Joc Pederson ($5,600)
He is actually 3-6 in his last three games. Although he often sits against lefties, that isn’t a worry tonight. His defense in center field should be a welcomed sight after Chris Taylor‘s miscue last night. Plus, Cody Bellinger is still dealing with a shoulder issue which may keep him at the DH spot. Look for Joc to stay in the lineup for the game tonight partially because of his defense. He has some pretty good upside with his pop and the fact that he is 12-32 with a HR and seven RBI in the postseason. That upside will show up tonight as he is my Home Run Call.
Good Luck Everyone!
