MLB DFS Grab Your Six Pack

MLB DFS Grab your six pack

Here we go with a six-pack of plays for your 9:40 EDT slate on DraftKings. With a small three-game slate for DFS, I like to go top-notch pitchers and find some bargains for hitting so we can squeeze in a few big guns. Let’s take a look at the players we have to choose from.

Be sure to check us out daily for our DFS content.

On the Mound

Alex Wood vs. Washington Nationals ($8,700)

The highest-priced pitcher on the limited docket is the way to go especially in cash games. The Nationals are a bad team and while their hitting was supposed to be decent, Josh Bell has cooled off and Nelson Cruz has a .499 OPS. Take the stud at home and lock in some solid points.

Aaron Civale @ Oakland Athletics ($6,900)

Frankie Montas could be a play here; I will option for the cheaper guy against an offense that has been horrible lately. Oakland has scored a total of six runs in their last five games and is just not a good lineup. Although Civale hasn’t pitched well this year, he offers solid strikeout upside with 11 K’s in 10,.1 innings. Take the matchup and the strikeout upside here.

On the Dirt

Josh Naylor, 1B ($3,300)

This is somewhat of a contrarian pick as Naylor has been cold for the last three after four consecutive multi-hit games. Overall, he is hitting .306 and generally hits in the middle portion of the Cleveland Guardians lineup.

Sheldon Neuse, 2B/3B ($3,500)

He is batting second and is a steal at this price. The youngster is hitting .288 and had two steals just a couple of games ago. Although I think Civale will have a solid outing, there is no reason not to take the bargain with Neuse.

On the Grass

Robbie Grossman ($3,400)

The normal leadoff hitter for the Detroit Tigers has one of the best floors available. He has three hits in three of his last seven games and is batting .400 against lefties this season so far. He gets to face Tyler Anderson who is at the back end of the rotation for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In Cash Games, Grossman is a lock.

Luis Gonzalez ($3,100)

This isn’t the player who got the game-winning hit against Mariano Rivera in the seventh game of the 2001 World Series. As a matter of fact, he isn’t even related, but this Luis has a five-game hitting streak. He gets to face Aaron Sanchez who is one the comeback trail and is only making his second start of the year. Throw Gonzalez in there and load up the other two spots in your outfield with studs.

Good luck in DFS tonight for the West Coast games.
