Latest on Brady/Patriots Negotiations

The New England Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady continue to be at odds over dollar bills.

Per ESPN reporter Mike Reiss, the six-time Super Bowl champion and his team of 20 years, have not made any progress on a contract extension.

“The Patriots are expected to seek clarity on Brady’s intentions before the start of free agency on March 18, because his decision will have a significant trickle-down effect on the team’s overall plans,” Reiss noted. “With no movement to date, I’m sticking with 80 percent odds on Brady’s return at this time.”

Free agency begins on March 18. However, teams can begin courting players on March 16 when the legal tampering period starts.

Teams that are expected to be a part of that scrum are the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and undoubtedly the Patriots themselves.
