Kyle Van Noy Responds to Pro Bowl Snub

Not one of the three New England Patriots that made the Pro Bowl roster was Kyle Van Noy and he is not happy about that.

One of his first tweets featured no caption, just the infamous disgusted Ryan Reynolds GIF.

In terms of numbers, Van Noy has only 47 tackles compared to his season-high of 92 achieved in 2018 with only two games to match that. His 6.5 sacks are a season best for the former Detroit Lion however.

Among those also snubbed from this year’s Pro Bowl were Julian Edelman, Jamie Collins, and Devin McCourty who have all had great seasons in their own right.

Van Noy appeared to think that his teammates on the defensive side deserved the honor and asked fans to retweet if they thought the same.

Edelman has over 1,000 yards receiving, six touchdown receptions, and 92 catches making this one of his most productive seasons in his career.

He is 14 receptions away from breaking his season-high 105 achieved in 2013. He is also 37 yards away from tying his season-high of 1,056.

Collins has had his third most productive season in terms of tackles at 72 and a season-high in interceptions with three.

McCourty had five interceptions for the first time since 2012 and is two away from his season-high achieved in his rookie season in 2010.
