The New York Knicks are reportedly asking for quite a haul from the Boston Celtics in exchange for their talented young power forward Kristaps Porzingis.

According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, in order to deal Porzingis, the Knicks would need to receive Brooklyn Nets’ first-round pick in 2018, and forwards Jaylen Brown and Jae Crowder.

Isola also included in his report that Boston believes New York’s asking price is currently to high for a trade to be agreed upon. However, the Celtics may be willing to make the swap if they are only required to part with one draft pick instead of two.

The 7’3″ Porzingis averaged 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game during the 2016-2017 season. Boston general manager Danny Ainge may be willing to part with some significant assists to land the incredibly talented and versatile Latvian player.
