Injury Report: Running Back Ruled Out, A Few Starters Questionable

The New England Patriots have announced their last injury report of the week.

The team officially announced that running back Brandon Bolden has officially been downgraded to out.

Bolden being inactive likely means the debut of rookie Damien Harris. Harris showed promise as a one-cut and receiving back in the preseason.

In addition, tight end Matt LaCosse who appeared to be the frontrunner to start while Benjamin Watson is suspended, remains questionable with an ankle injury.

Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon is only ruled questionable and not out after suffering shoulder injury last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers

This comes as good news as it could mean the injury is not as serious as previously thought. Even so, it is unlikely that the former All-Pro will play and the team will have to trust newly acquired linemen Marshall Newhouse and Korey Cunningham to hold down the fort.

The team, barring a few nicks here and there is relatively healthy but that will most likely change as the season goes on.
