Hreha: Should the Browns Take a Shot at Antonio Brown or Le’Veon Bell?

The Cleveland Browns are a team that people will be watching next year as they are looking to make the playoffs and make a run for the Lombardi Trophy.

The team has some weak positions that need to be resolved. This is where Jarvis Landry gets involved. Landry made a statement saying the Browns should take a gamble on Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. So the question is: Should they go get these two Pittsburgh Steelers studs?

To find this answer let’s look at what they did last year. Bell took the year off because he sought a long-term extension from the Steelers, which he did not receive. Brown, on the other hand, had a phenomenal year, with 104 receptions for 1297 yards and a league-high 15 touchdowns.

Bell is a generational player who can do it all, but not playing for a year can take a toll on him. He also is asking for a lot of money, which the Browns might be spending on other free agents in positions of need. Cleveland already has Nick Chubb, who was 10th in the league in rushing yards. This is why I think the Browns shouldn’t sign Bell.

Brown is a different story for this team. The Browns might have to give up a lot to get Brown, but the acquisition can transform this team into a legitimate contender. Having two studs at wide receiver can be a nightmare because teams can’t double both. Baker Mayfield will have a dynamic young weapon, and football in Cleveland would become must-see television once again.
