Heller’s Week 11 Picks

Week 10 was my worst week yet as I went 3-10 with my picks. The silver lining is that two of my wins were my upset picks (the Vikings and Seahawks). Perhaps I’ll fare better this week.

Steelers 20, Browns 24

While it won’t be easy against T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick, and the Steelers’ defense, I see the Browns coming out on top. Odell Beckham, Jr. and Kareem Hunt will both have big games for Cleveland.

UPSET: Jaguars 24, Colts 17

Jacksonville has had an extra week to prepare for their division rival. Nick Foles returns just in time for this one. Even with Jacoby Brissett back in at quarterback, it’s hard to pick Indy here.

Cowboys 27, Lions 17

This game will be much closer if Matthew Stafford gets the start. Either way, the Cowboys will make enough plays to come out on top. Amari Cooper will get a pair of touchdowns in this one.

UPSET: Bills 17, Dolphins 21

The legend that is Ryan Fitzpatrick and his bag of magic will extend the Dolphins’ winning streak to three games.

Broncos 13, Vikings 31

The Vikings will dominate this game from beginning to end. Dalvin Cook will rush for 150 yards and two touchdowns, and Kirk Cousins will throw for a pair as well.

Saints 27, Buccaneers 17

Drew Brees will rebound from the loss to the Falcons. He will have three touchdown passes while Jameis Winston will struggle against the Saints’ defense.

Jets 20, Redskins 17

Le’Veon Bell will have a big day for the Jets. Dwayne Haskins will play well but will make a costly mistake late in this one.

Falcons 24, Panthers 30

Christian McCaffrey will have three total touchdowns and flirt with 200 total yards in this game. Matt Ryan will play well but come up short.

Texans 38, Ravens 41

This high-scoring game will be more than entertaining. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will get the win. Deshaun Watson will play well but come up on the losing end.

Cardinals 20, 49ers 31

Their first matchup was a nail-biter, but coming off their first loss of the season, the 49ers will take their frustrations out on Kyler Murray.

Bengals 13, Raiders 34

Jon Gruden’s team will continue their push to take over the top spot of the AFC West. Derek Carr will throw for a pair of touchdowns.

UPSET: Patriots 20, Eagles 21

Nick Foles is no longer there, but Carson Wentz will lead his team to an upset over Tom Brady and the Patriots. Watch for a successful Philly Special for New England, though, from Mohamed Sanu to Brady.

Bears 24, Rams 14

The Rams have struggled. They won’t fare any better against Chicago’s defense. Mitchell Trubisky will have a solid game.

Chiefs 41, Chargers 20

After a tough loss in his return against the Titans, Patrick Mahomes will rebound against Los Angeles. Mexico City will be in for a great game. Melvin Gordon and Austin Ekeler will both have to have big games on the ground for the Chargers to have any chance.
