The New England Patriots put yet another receiver on the injury report.
Josh Gordon has reportedly been dealing with a knee issue this week and was put on the report as a result.
Along with Gunner Olszewski and Julian Edelman, Gordon was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice.
The Baylor alum however gave an update on how he is on the knee.
“I’m feeling all right man, it’s a grind,’’ Gordon told reporters. “We played a couple of tough games, but all the same, I think coming in, doing what our treatment staff suggests, and be ready to go each and every Sunday.’’
With 221 yards receiving, that puts him second on the team behind Julian Edelman. The Patriots have been using their big receiver in many different ways and Gordon has embraced that.
“I’ve moved around a lot, learned different nuances of the game, different positions,’’ Gordon said. “I think it was really fun, just trying out different spots, playing from the slot, from outside, motioning, shifting around, so having that familiarity has been a lot of fun.’’
