Another chaotic week in the National Football League has concluded. As a result, it is time for the week’s top team to be crowned.

The top team from Week 9 is the Philadelphia Eagles, earning this honor for the second time in 2022.

Jalen Hurts MVP Run

Hurts has asserted himself among the NFC’s elite. He has thrown for 2,042 and 12 touchdowns while tossing just two interceptions. He also has six touchdowns on the ground. During the Eagles’ most recent game against the Houston Texans, Hurts went 21-for-27 with 243 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed nine times for an additional 23 yards and one touchdown on the ground.

Smith + Brown = Underrated Duo

In the game versus Houston, DeVonta Smith and A.J Brown combined for six receptions, 81 yards, and a touchdown. The Eagles acquiring A.J Brown from the Tennesee Titans was the best offseason move they made.

Attacking the Quarterback

The Eagles got after Davis Mills, sacking him three separate times. Javon Hargrave notched all three of those sacks. Cornerbacks James Bradberry and C.J. Gardner-Johnson were able to pick off Mills once each.

The Magical Goedert

Dallas Goedert is one of the best tight ends in the league. He was the Eagles’ leading receiver on Thursday, notching eight receptions for 100 yards and one touchdown. He has shown that he can be a great target for his young quarterback.

8-0

To be eight-and-zero in the modern NFL is insane, so the fact that the Eagles are undefeated is a testament to the Eagles themselves and the potentially Super Bowl-contending roster they have in place.
