Play & Odds: Russell Westbrook (LAC) OVER 14.5 Points (-120)

Justification

I was fortunate enough to lock this bet in early at -120 odds because since then, the over on Russell Westbrook’s point prop of 14.5 has slightly dropped to -125. Never underestimate the underlying value that comes with securing a bet early before prospective markets and sportsbooks make adjustments.

From a sheer basketball standpoint, the past few games have seen Westbrook put up some pretty dynamic performances, specifically on the offensive end of the court. Over his past five games, Westbrook has scored at least 14 points in four of them to go along with at least six assists. In addition, he continues to acclimate himself to the Clippers’ starting five and should get plenty of good looks alongside the likes of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. I’m inclined to think that Westbrook can easily eclipse 20 points tonight at home against the Toronto Raptors.

This one looks like easy money. Take the OVER on Westbrook’s point prop this evening, hoop fans.
