Last March, then-junior Patrick Steeves announced he was transferring from Harvard.
On Saturday, Steeves, now a George Washington Colonial squared off against his former team, and made its life miserable.
Steeves scored a game-high 19 points and retrieved a game-high nine boards to power GW over Harvard, 58-48.

Steeves’ first two field goals, a jumper and dunk, were part of a 9-0 Colonials’ to open the game. He finished the first half with 15 points as GW led 30-24 at the break.
With 4:34 remaining, Steeves slammed home a dunk, pushing the Colonials up, 55-42, and the Crimson, who were without leading scorer Bryce Aiken (17.6 PPG) due to a minor knee injury for the second straight game, couldn’t respond.
Seth Towns led the Crimson with 12 points.
Harvard, which sits at 1-6 on the road, looks to get back on track next Saturday at 12 p.m. when it visits Minnesota (11-3).
