Former All-Pro Hints at Signing With Patriots

Wide receiver speculation is at an all-time high in New England and it is time to add another name to the list.

Former All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant responded to fans saying that he is taking a break from Madden. The reason being he needs more rest to start preparing for a new opportunity.

As if this was not enough to get the speculation going, Bryant responded to a fan saying that the Patriots just might be the opportunity he hinted at.

Bryant could have just been joking and humoring that fan.

But what is not a joke is that the Patriots’ offense has sputtered in recent weeks. The unit failed to get passed an abysmal Houston Texans secondary and there has been constant miscommunication between Tom Brady and the rookies.

The one red flag albeit a big one with Bryant however is that he has not played a real NFL game since 2017.

In 2018, he tore his Achilles tendon in practice only two days in to his stint with the New Orleans Saints.

Other than Antonio Brown, Bryant is undisputedly the only receiver on the market right now that can enter an organization and make an immediate impact. It just depends on his health.

It makes sense for the Super Bowl champions to take a flier of Bryant given their circumstances at the position. Time will tell in the coming days.
