Last season was an absolute disaster and Dan Snyder finally sent Bruce Allen packing. After firing Allen, Snyder told the entire interim coaching staff and some front office members to follow him out the door. During the coaching search, Allen had one guy in mind. A coach with great character and vision with ambition. That coach was Ron Rivera, who takes pride in coaching discipline football. I would expect the Redskins to improve in 2020.
Dwayne Haskins will throw for 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns
Haskins looks like he’s slimmed down this offseason, which is always a good sign. If you pair Haskins’ offseason work ethic with Terry McLaurin‘s potential, a fire could ignite. You also insert Scott Turner into the offensive coordinator position who specializes in an Air Coryell offense that is pass heavy. Then you think about game script and this Redskins defense is good. It should provide Haskins with a lot of scoring situations.

Terry McLaurin puts the league on notice with 1,200 receiving yards and eight touchdowns
After posting a slash line of 58/919/7 in his 2019 rookie season, I would expect McLaurin to surpass those numbers with more consistent quarterback play. As mentioned with Haskins, this projection should only increase as the Redskins are provided more opportunities thanks to a stout defense. I’m confident in McLaurin’s ability to consistently post high level numbers because of his nuance and polished route running ability.

Logan Thomas will have a breakout season with 50 catches, 550 yards, and five touchdowns
The former Virginia Tech quarterback is still green at the position. Despite his inexperience, I think he is a serviceable blocker, deserving trust from the coaching staff. He’s a natural athlete with very good play speed for the position. His quarterback experience should enhance his mental processing post-snap. He just needs an opportunity.
Matt Stafford was sharp on the first drive. Forced Marvin Jones to make a diving catch that probably wasn't necessary early on, but was mostly on target and on time. Nice ball to Logan Thomas on the sideline to set up for a TD a few plays later. pic.twitter.com/G0owmP0XTY

Jimmy Moreland finishes top five in the NFL with five interceptions
The mouse is in the house, is what Jay Gruden use to say at camp whenever Moreland made a play. Moreland prides himself on discipline and processing route combinations post-snap, so he can get into position to make a big play. Moreland had 18 interceptions during his collegiate career and his college ball skills should translate with opportunity.
Jimmy Moreland has 3 interceptions tonight and his team has TEN TAKEAWAYS 😳

Jonathan Allen surpasses 10 sacks, finishing top five among defensive tackles
Allen is the leader of not only the defense but the entire team. No one deserves a winning season more than Allen because that’s all he wants to do. With Montez Sweat, Chase Young, Ryan Kerrigan, and Ryan Anderson rushing off the edge, it should open things up for Allen. Not to mention that he will line up next to Matthew Ioannidis or Da’Ron Payne. Allen has totaled 14 sacks over the last two years and he will improve that total, as long as he’s on the right side of sack variance.
