Fanelli’s Fave Five Prop Bets for MNF: Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Tonight we have a matchup between the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-145)

Many believe this will be Big Ben’s final home game for the Steelers. Unfortunately, he won’t go out on fire. The future Hall of Famer has struggled this season, averaging 1.4 passing touchdowns per game. He has thrown under 1.5 touchdowns in 64.3 percent of the games this season. Furthermore, he has thrown one total touchdown over the past two weeks. Meanwhile, the Browns have held quarterbacks under 1.5 passing touchdowns in 53.3 percent of their games this season, including four of the past five games. Furthermore, the Browns held Big Ben to only one passing touchdown in the matchup earlier this season. While the Steelers need to win this game to have any chance of making the playoffs, expect a quiet performance from Big Ben.

Nick Chubb to Score an Anytime Touchdown (-115)

Despite being eliminated from the playoffs, don’t expect the Browns to sit their star players. Chubb has been one of the best running backs in the NFL this season, averaging 5.5 rushing yards per rushing attempt. He has also scored nine touchdowns in 12 games this season. More importantly, Chubb has scored at least one touchdown in four of the past six games. Meanwhile, the Steelers have given up 14 total touchdowns to running backs this season. They have given up at least one touchdown to running backs in eight of their past 10 games. Furthermore, Kareem Hunt is questionable to play in this game. While Chubb didn’t score a touchdown in the Week 8 matchup against the Steelers, he will score at least one touchdown tonight.

Diontae Johnson Over 71.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

After dealing with drops last year, Johnson has turned into one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this season. He has averaged 77.1 receiving yards per game this season, 15.6 receiving yards per game more than in 2020. More importantly, Johnson has totaled at least 71 receiving yards in 71.4 percent of the games this season. Furthermore, he had at least 76 receiving yards in five of the past seven games. Meanwhile, the Browns have given up an average of 150.5 receiving yards per game to wide receiver this season. Furthermore, the Browns surrendered 10 receptions for 114 receiving yards to Davante Adams last week. Johnson had 98 receiving yards on six receptions against the Browns earlier this season. Expect a similar performance in tonight’s game.

Baker Mayfield Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-180)

While he threw two touchdowns in back-to-back games, Mayfield will struggle tonight. Baker has averaged only 1.2 passing touchdowns per game this season. He has thrown under 1.5 passing touchdowns in 61.5 percent of the games this season, including four of the past seven games. Furthermore, Baker has thrown for zero touchdowns in 23.1 percent of the games this season. Meanwhile, the Steelers have held quarterbacks to 1.5 passing touchdowns per game this season, holding quarterbacks to under 1.5 passing touchdowns in 53.3 percent of their contests. Furthermore, they have held quarterbacks under 1.5 passing touchdowns in seven of the past 10 games. Baker failed to throw a touchdown in the Week 8 matchup against the Steelers. He is more likely to get benched tonight than throw over 1.5 touchdowns.

Najee Harris Over 70.5 Rushing Yards (-120)

Harris has played well this season, leading all rookie running backs with 984 rushing yards. While he has averaged 65.6 rushing yards per game this season, Harris has played better lately. He had at least 71 rushing yards in three of the past four games. Furthermore, Harris had at least 71 rushing yards in just under half the games this season. Meanwhile, the Browns have given up an average of 84.5 rushing yards per game to running backs this year. They have given up at least 83 rushing yards to running backs in eight of their past 11 games. In the Week 8 matchup against the Browns, Harris had 26 rushing attempts for 91 rushing yards. He should have a similar performance in tonight’s contest.
