Edelman Praises Mohamed Sanu

Former Atlanta Falcon and Cincinnati Bengal Mohamed Sanu has progressed rapidly with his new team.

After sending a second-round pick for Sanu, the wide has been a sponge trying to get acclimated very quickly to prove he was worth the big investment.

Even to the point where he is reportedly mentoring rookie wide receiver N’Keal Harry as he prepares to debut. All of this early on, has has impressed the reigning Super Bowl MVP.

On the Greg Hill Show on WEEI, wide receiver Julian Edelman gushed over his new teammate and his leadership.

“I’ll tell you right now, [Sanu] has been an unbelievable teammate,” Edelman told the Greg Hill Show. “I didn’t even know about (Sanu mentoring Harry), and it doesn’t surprise me that he was probably talking to N’Keal.”

Edelman went on to say that it also would not surprise him if he was giving words of advice to the other rookie wide receivers as well.

The wide receiver in only 10 days of preparation, recorded 10 receptions for 81 yards and his first score in the Sunday night loss against the Baltimore Ravens.

“He had a good game and he did a lot of great things for us out there and it’s good having him. It’s good adding a playmaker.”
