In a recent interview, Derrick Rose had an emotional reaction when being asked about his production and if it will change with the absence of Tom Thibodeau.

Thibodeau was relieved of his head coaching duties yesterday, after a 19-21 start to the season.

Following the clip being released, Rose immediately received backlash for telling people who didn’t believe in him to commit suicide.

This led to the former MVP taking to Twitter in order to issue an apology.

Rose, who has suffered through a multitude of injuries his entire career, is surprising the world this season with 18.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 4.8 dimes per game over 29.8 minutes of action.

His success off the bench is not going unnoticed. In the most recent All-Star voting returns, Rose had been given the third-most votes out of anyone in the West. The only two players ahead of him are LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
