The thing that I like most about college basketball is that there are great matchups every day of the week, especially on Super Tuesday. There are some great games on tap today, meaning we have some excellent opportunities to make money. If you are trapped inside today due to the winter storm, sit back, relax, and watch some hoops.

2021 Record: 20-17-1
Florida vs. Arkansas (-3)
Arkansas is slowly turning into one of the more dangerous teams in the country. They are averaging over 82 points per game and are in the top-25 in pace-of-play. While Florida is not too bad on offense themselves, they are coming off a long layoff, and rust against a red hot Arkansas team has to be taken into consideration.
Michigan State vs. Purdue U/132.5
The last time these teams faced off, the total was 109 which was way below the 141.5 pre-game line. Purdue plays at the 286th pace in the country, which should help the Spartans defense after that drumming they took against Iowa. Michigan State seemed to turn a corner going into that game. The defense was playing great and they were able to score in the paint. Then the actual game happened.
For this one, I am not comfortable taking the 6.5 on either side, so we are going with the under.
Xavier vs. St. John’s (-1.5)
St. John’s are winners in six out of their last seven and are averaging just under 80 points per game. They are also in the top 15 in pace of play (which is clearly my favorite stat when picking winners.) While Xavier is 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games, St. John’s is 7-3 ATS at home and they are playing the better basketball at the moment.
Northwestern vs. Illinois (-12)
Northwestern is in a free fall and there are no signs of stopping. They are having a hard time offensively and are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games. Expect Kofi Cockburn to have a monster night in the paint and for Illinois to blow out a pedestrian Northwestern team.
