Hello, and welcome back to the gambling corner. The NBA playoffs are off to a great start and so am I. We have a full slate tonight so let’s have ourselves a good time, win some money, and watch some playoff basketball.

Wizards vs 76ers (-6)

It’s over. While it was fun watching Russell Westbrook cook in game four, this series is over. Even with Joel Embiid unlikely to play as I am writing this, don’t expect the Wizards to have much left in the tank. While they are 23-15-1 ATS on the road this year, they are 0-11 in their last 11 in Philadelphia and 0-5 in their last five road games. This seems like a game the Wizards should be competitive in, given that Embiid is out. However, it also feels like a game where Danny Green is going to shoot the lights out. Back the 76ers tonight.

Hawks (+2) vs Knicks

Let’s just wrap it up if the Knicks have to rely on Derrick Rose to keep them in ballgames. Trae Young is on a different level and has taken on the role of villain after being mildly disrespected; a childish but fair move. The Hawks are 5-1 ATS in their last six. If Julius Randle and the rest of the Knicks can’t figure it out, not even the very loud, and very, let’s call it passionate New York fan base can save them.

Grizzlies (+9.5) vs Jazz

The Jazz have been a powerhouse ATS at home all season long with a record of 44-31-1. Even then, I like the Grizzlies tonight. Memphis is on a 2-7 run ATS, but they do not seem like a team that will fade away, especially led by Ja Morant. This a gut pick, and 9.5 is a ton of points to win by against a very good (though inexperienced) Grizzlies team.

Mavericks (+7) vs Clippers

I think we may have overreacted just a little bit to the Clippers going down 2-0. However, I like Dallas tonight. They are 4-1 ATS in their last five against the Clippers and Luka Doncic was able to still do practically whatever he wanted with a neck injury. While I think the ship has sailed on the Mavericks winning this series, this should be a close game that ends in a free-throw match, which is good for us underdog betters, especially with seven points to play with.
