This is not a the best week in terms of college football. The matchups are not great and we lost a handful of games due to COVID-19. However, there is still some money to be made today and we are going to do just that. Starting this week, there will be picks for every game on the slate. Let’s have a great weekend.

2020 Record: 42-41

Best Bets:

Wisconsin (-4.5) vs. Michigan

Plain and simple, Michigan is really awful. While Wisconsin has not played since Week 1 against Illinois, there is no reason to believe this Michigan team can hang with the big dogs. The Badgers seem to finally have a good quarterback in Graham Mertz and he will dissect this pedestrian secondary.

Miami vs. Virginia Tech O/67.5

Miami features an explosive offense led by D’Eriq King. While they might not be the championship-caliber team from the beginning of the season, they are still very dangerous. Virginia Tech is allowing over eight yards per pass attempt and over five yards per carry on the ground. The Hurricanes will have no problem scoring in what should be a shootout.

Penn State (-3) vs. Nebraska

There is no way that Penn State will start the season 0-4, right? This is more of a “gut feeling” pick. Nebraska has not been very good and Penn State is a lot more talented. There is just no way this much talent can start the season with five losses.

Notre Dame vs. Boston College (+12) U/51.5

This seems like the perfect trap game for Notre Dame. They are coming off their biggest win in 20-plus years, and riding high as the second-ranked team in the country. Notre Dame always plays to its competition. This team beat Louisville 12-7 and followed that by outlasting Clemson 47-40. Boston College is not that talented and Notre Dame will once again do just enough to win, but will not cover.
