Despite losing to the Kansas City Chiefs twice last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are looking forward to hosting them on Sunday. The Jaguars hope those defeats are turned into motivation; however, the last time they defeated the Chiefs was in 2009.
The Jaguars will be missing Antonio Johnson and Gregory Junior, and Tyler Lacy is questionable for the game but will suit up. Luke Fortner and Brandon Scherff were also doubtful, but they will play on Sunday. Despite the injuries, the Jaguars are still on the rise and are projected to win the AFC South. Last season, they struggled on 3rd downs, and to beat the Chiefs thoroughly, they will need to put points on the board.
The Chiefs will be on the hunt for a win since teams who go 0-2 typically do not make it into the playoffs. Last season, the Cincinnati Bengals proved that otherwise, but the Chiefs will not take any chances. They will have Travis Kelce and Chris Jones back in the lineup, and everyone knows Patrick Mahomes will not want to lose. The Chiefs need an effective defense to curtail the Jaguars offense.

Point Spread: KC -3.5 (-102), JAX +3.5 (-118)
Moneyline: KC (-180), JAX (+150)
Over/Under: 51(-110)
Despite being 0-1, the Chiefs are still the favorites to win. Going for the over/under is enticing, but it still depends on whether the offenses are on fire.
What To Watch For
The game should be an exciting back-and-forth unless one of the teams decides not to show up. It will be an interesting game if the Chiefs still have the issues with dropped passes. If that happens, the Jaguars will have the opportunity to come out with the victory.
Both defenses will be looking to increase their pressure on the quarterback, thus reducing the time available to make a throw. If they can be successful, a low-scoring game might be in the cards. However, both Mahomes and Trevor Lawrence have the ability to overcome the rush. It will be interesting to see how it might play out if that happens.
Will Jones have a big name for the Chiefs after his holdout? How he plays in this game will be a big tell; however, keep in mind that he missed preseason and all practices up until this past week. Will he be rusty, or is he ready to play
