Coming off of a heartbreaking loss on the road to the Atlanta Dream, the Minnesota Lynx played an impressive game at home to beat the Phoenix Mercury for the fourth straight time Sunday night. In this 75-62 victory over the Mercury, the Lynx came out strong, scoring quick points. Throughout the game, the Lynx were able to body their way past a physical Phoenix team as all five Lynx starters finished in double-digits. This win puts Minnesota at 10-7 as they remain number four in league standings.

It’s been a tumultuous past couple of months for the Oklahoma City Thunder and their fans, to say the least.
Diana Taurasi made her long-awaited return to hoops Friday night at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut vs the Connecticut Sun. Taurasi, who had been out for the first half of the season with a back injury that required surgery, went through the team’s pre-game shoot around and several other drills at full speed prior to being in the starting lineup for the Mercury. Though the Mercury led the Sun 36-30 at halftime, the Sun came out shooting well. The Sun’s entire starting lineup turned into scoring machines, as all five finished the game in double figures after going on a 17-1 run in the 2nd half.
Chris Herndon was suspended for the first four games of the regular season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.
Nearly 100,000 people are currently waiting for a kidney transplant. In fact, more people are waiting for a match because of kidney failure than all other organs combined. On Wednesday word is spread all over social media that former NFL defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth was in desperate need of a kidney due to the failure of his kidneys. He posted on Instagram that the time had come to ask for help and fans and media alike have been spreading his plea for help on social media platforms far and wide. Another NFL player who has already gone through a kidney transplant is former Bills wide receiver, Donald Jones. Jones has written a book, The Next Quarter, about his experiences before during and after the transplant. Information about obtaining the book is available at DonaldJones.info. It is a great read.
The 2019 All-Star Game may be over, but the memories will always last. With sharing experiences in a previous article I wrote, it’s time to share my tips and tricks for everyone to know if the All-Star Game comes to your area in the future.

With Federer holding the 2-1 advantage in this tournament, and Nadal holding the better overall record, the excitement and audience views for this matchup will more than likely surpass the number of viewers for the actual final. This just shows how big and important this matchup will be.

But while the press release did announce a serious fine, misspelling his name and humorously referring to him by his derogatory nickname of “Big Baby” whilst doing so, that wasn’t the headline. The main story is that they were releasing, or in their terms, “deactivating”, four former NBA players, two of whom were all-stars.
