Report: Rams Cornerback Takes Shot at Brady
Five days before the Super Bowl, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman has made a bold statement regarding his opponent.

Five days before the Super Bowl, Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman has made a bold statement regarding his opponent.

Three years after their Super Bowl 50 victory, the Broncos are in the same situation they were before Peyton Manning chose to sign with them. The Denver Broncos finished at home with a very weak 23-9 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Finishing up the season 6-10, and clinching it’s first back-to-back double-digit loss season since 1967. They will be on a quest to regroup and find a way to get back to the playoffs.

The 2018 season may not have gone the way New York Jet fans may have wanted it to go but in the long run it was exactly what the team needed. Many expected the Jets to finish as one of the bottom two teams in the AFC East this season but despite a disappointing season that ended at 4-12, there was some bright spots.

2018 was not the year 49er fans thought it would be. A potential playoff berth was in the discussion, not a 4-12 season that would be good enough for the second-worst record in the league. But if you are going to understand 2018, we will have to hope into the old DeLorean and head back towards the end of 2017.

The Los Angeles Rams will represent the NFC as they will advance to the Super Bowl following their 26-23 win over the New Orleans Saints. This being a rematch of the top two seeds in the NFC who had already met in Week 9. It was a great game full of momentum swings and amazing plays but was not without its share of controversy.

The Los Angeles Rams come off a run-heavy game where they decided to let CJ Anderson and Todd Gurley take over for a 30-22 win against the Cowboys to get to the NFC Championship game. It wasn’t as easy for the New Orleans Saints, who had to rally from down fourteen against Nick Foles and the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles to eke out a win on a last-minute interception just to host this NFC Championship Game. This game will kick off championship weekend and will be played at 3:05 ET on FOX.

The Los Angeles Rams are one win away from making it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2001. Due in large part to the two-headed running attack they recently acquired. The Rams backfield was formerly a one-man band in Todd Gurley who shouldered much of the rushing responsibilities. However, a lot of changed when they signed C.J. Anderson going into Week 16.

The Bengals started off the regular season 4-1 and seemed ready to make a playoff run. However, before you knew it they picked up five straight losses and lost seven out of their last eight, ending the season with a 16-13 loss at Pittsburgh and 6-10 record to finish out of the playoff picture for the third straight year.

Brady vs Manning. Brady vs Rodgers. Brady vs Manning (again). Brady vs… Mahomes? Let’s just say this. Patrick Mahomes is 18 years younger than Tom Brady. That’s a player about to be drafted into the NBA difference in age. This will be one of the most interesting championship rounds in recent history. It’s the young buck Patrick Mahomes trying to come in and take the reigns of the AFC from the man who’s reigned supreme of the AFC since 2001. It’s a shifting of times as quarterbacks like Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, DeShaun Watson, and others start to emerge as the future leaders of the new NFL generation as quarterbacks like Drew Brees, Brady, Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger start to reach the twilight of their careers. Brady vs Mahomes is just the story behind this game, but in all reality these two teams are playing for one thing and one thing only. A chance to play in the Super Bowl.

The story of Nick Foles was one of the most unlikely sports stories of all-time; it’s also the story of an underdog proving his worth and stepping in after an injury twice to prove his worth.
