The NFC West is arguably the best division in football, and now two of those teams play in Glendale, AZ. Due to the COVID restrictions in Santa Clara County, the San Francisco 49ers have been forced to make their new home in the Cardinals’ State Farm Stadium.
Week 13 brings the NFC South divisional rematch between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons. The teams will meet on Atlanta’s home turf this time, and even though the Falcons lead the all-time series, 52-50, the Saints have won five of the last six games.
As Aaron Rodgers turns 37, he looks just as good now as he did while winning the first of two MVP awards in 2011. During that 15-1 season for Green Bay, Rodgers completed 68.3 percent of his passes, threw for 4,643 yards, and 45/6 touchdown to interception ratio. In 2020, nine years older, Rodgers on pace for 4,509 yards, 48 touchdowns, six interceptions, and currently has a quarterback rating of 117.6 which is second in his career behind the 2011 season.
The 2020 NFL season is starting to wind down. However, we still have plenty of games left, and after that, we have the entire postseason to bet on. Unfortunately, I’ve been on a losing streak the last few weeks. Hopefully, I can turn this losing streak into a big profit for everyone this week.

Thursday Night Football is an expansion of the NFL broadcasting network. In 2006, telecasts were originally run through NFL Network’s Run to the Playoffs package, which consisted of eight total NFL games. Since 2012, the TNF package has started since the second week of the NFL season. That also includes the NFL Kickoff Game and NFL on Thanksgiving.
Here’s a look back at the week that was Week 12.
This game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers was supposed to take place on Thanksgiving. However, the Ravens had several positive Covid-19 cases, and the league moved the game to Sunday afternoon, only to push it back again Tuesday night and then again today at 3:40 P.M. est. Several Steeler players voiced their displeasure with the NFL’s decision, most notably was star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
To most NFL fans, they only see the players on Sundays. Little do they know how important the people behind the scenes are. Most of the blame falls upon the head coach when the team doesn’t do well, leading to their departure, most of the time from the general manager. Sometimes, when things need a full rebuild, both the general manager and head coach get fired. That is the case of a few teams already this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs traveled to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers in Week 12, and Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill each had huge games.
A matchup between two teams at opposite ends of the AFC playoff race, the Los Angeles Chargers traveled to Buffalo to battle the Bills on Sunday. A game that ultimately felt much closer than it was, Anthony Lynn’s team fell behind by multiple scores early and could never recover. Nearly giving the game away in the final quarter, Josh Allen and the Bills offense turned the ball over on three consecutive possessions in their sloppiest stretch of play so far this season.
